I have been wanting to return to school for sometime, for personal branding & digital design. I love technology and spirituality, which I know is rare. I enrolled in the digital communications diploma with the hopes of gaining skill sets I need with programs to execute some of my thousands of ideas.
Yes, I am creative, innovative, intuitive, and committed to the new economy. I am an INFJ, a catalyst, a Gemini with Leo rising, and have a special gift with crystals/gems. I purchased Winds of Change on 5th street in 2008 and renamed/rebranded as SoulStar Metaphysics this year. I am super addicted to researching unusual things, studying the truth that is often hidden from us, and doing my part for improving the state of this world and how we co-create within it.
I come from a family of gypsies, I was born in Vernon, BC but didn’t even stay there a year… we moved between Alberta and British Columbia through my formative years. I am the youngest of 4 by a lot ( 10 years ) , I have 2 sisters and a brother. We settled in Royston in the late 80’s but it was pretty much just me and my mom by that point. I graduated from GP Vanier in 1993. At that time, i thought there are only 2 viable careers, computers or the environment… I figured i didn’t want to spend my life on screens so enrolled into the Environmental Technology Diploma Program at Camosun College.
Since then, I have grown a lot, moved back and forth between alberta and bc myself (lol) and realized that we all spend our lives on computers period. So I might as well join the tech revolution, and bring my special gifts to the arena. I am not too sure what the future holds with this course, but I have an inkling of product design, identity design, environmental design.. product development? I think a lot will become clear as i just keep taking the next step.
